This D'Angelico model is made in Korea and the fit and finish are excellent. This model is their mid-tier offering which includes upgraded tuners, ebony fingerboard, and Seymore Duncan pickups. I played one at a music shop and loved the fit, feel, tone and weight. Feel is very subjective but I love the thin neck and ebony fingerboard. With the center block being maple it is lighter in weight compared to the mahogany used by most.

I have purchased other guitars at Pro Audio star and have had a good experience. Free shipping and it is arriving tomorrow (Ships from New York - two days to my home in the Chicago area)

Open-Box is even cheaper at $684.99 It's marked as "mint" but the guitar's I've purchased from them in Mint, weren't even open. Just a way to get around selling under MSRP.
