Care mode is effectively is a reduced maximum 20W mode that lowers temperatures as a natural side effect, not any sort of super intelligence and communication. Without being privy to the TΓV's standards, I'd also doubt that a safety certification process would "approve" of the feature in an explicit manner as the ad copy claims.
Going lighter on the throttle while driving will generally help save fuel and avoid speeding tickets, but is not some sort of groundbreaking or unique technique at work.
It identifies what is connected through a reference table of USB device IDs it has stored in its firmware, which is static and can't be upgraded. It's aimed mostly at Apple devices, and come Fall, when the iPhone 18, 19, or Whatever is released, won't be able to identify a device it has no knowledge of in its books.
In short, this is a solid charger, but Anker is trying very hard to sell what some see as a gimmicky product as something smarter than it is.
Nothing wrong with liking geeky things like the screen, and I might burn my BB promo credit on one myself if I can't find something else worthwhile, but don't fall for the marketing hype.
