I've had this set before and I can't recommend it. The sound is anemic and the "subwoofer" is a 4" driver. It has a pretty terrible frequency response, too. All around my recommendation would be to save your money for something a bit better.

I have two of these sets and I think they are great. of course, it depends on your use case, but under my desk for my gaming PC the bass sounds great. The other set is in my digital jukebox/stand-up arcade and it sounds great there as well. For a home theatre, probably not so much, but they are a great set of computer speakers for most people.

$28 is a great price. I paid much more for mine.

I'm glad you shared and I think that's the importance of these forums. I obviously don't agree as my previous post indicates, but I think you highlight how subjective sound is. Maybe I was too harsh. If this was all a person's budget was and they were just trying to get something better than their monitor speakers, it would be an incredible upgrade.

Good job offering people use case scenarios as well as your opinion. Repped.

I would rather ACTUALLY light $28 on fire than buy these again. And I have bought a lot of different logitech products. These things are awful

While I agreed that it's subjective, I want to add that many, if not most people, don't know what a good sound system should sound.

Yes, that's also very true. Sometimes ignorance is bliss, though. If someone doesn't know any better and these $28 speakers make them happy, more power to them. I personally made room for an older Sony HT-CT150 (3.1 soundbar with ARC) for my computer set up. I did pay, I think $50 for it off Marketplace, and that is obviously twice the price of this unit, but it's way more than twice the sound. This would definitely be the route I'd recommend to people that have the room for it. Save your $28 this pay period, save $28 the following pay period, then find a better set up used on Marketplace. They're definitely out there.

So I definitely agree, but if people only have $30 to spend and just want to add a little oomph to their computer, this will do the trick.

For $28 this is a good value. I have used this in the past. I have many different Logitech speakers and this is one of the base models. Decent for the money
