XR is 3 speed, this is one. Unless you need an impact driver today, I'd wait for the XR to go on sale for roughly the same price.
And actually, I'd just get the 850, the Atomic. The very small size vs excellent power seems really nice. Should also go on sale for about the same price, if you have time to wait.
