I take a zinc tablet every other day. Once you have enough zinc buitd up in your body fleas and mosquitoes will not bite you.

I take zinc every day and still get bit horribly. Then again I can go camping with others who don't use repellent who end up with a bite or two. I use cans of repellent and with have over a hundred bites. I guess it depends on the person.
