I find it funny - all the complaining about the lack of stacking. Sure, definitely a sting to not being able to stack anymore...but come on people. In today's world - where a cheeseburger is 18 bucks, getting 35% off anywhere is a steal. Add kids on top of that, saving that much allows us as parents to try new things. So thank you for posting this - in for a few.

I feel sad that they took away the ability to stack coupons with credit. And depending on where you live and how many restaurants you have it may not be a good deal anymore. For me this deal is still worth it for as long as they keep the Mezeh restaurants within inKind network. I live Mezeh and enjoy 35% discount. One bowl feeds two people and it's a lot healthier than any other fast food.

inkind is now charging "technology fees" for using their self imposed QR code payment method unless you sign up for their new subscription service inKind Pass?

I got charged 2.50 extra on an order for 8.33. The day before, I got charged 4 dollars for an order of 13.34

I used to be a big fan, can't see myself using them anymore

It's a better deal to just use the offers they send you which a lot of the time are 50% off. i.e. $25 off $50 or $20 off $40 are the most commons ones I've gotten. Since you can't stack now

I've been using InKind for probably 3-4 years.
I used to get $50 off $50, and $100 off $100...now those were the days, especially since you could buy restaurant GCs with InKind...despite being prohibited per their terms...the last time I tried in December, it was denied FYI.
Had they continued down that path, it would have gone the way of MoviePass.
At 35%, it's still better than paying regular prices...not sure why people are complaining. Things change....usually for the worse.
It was great while it lasted!

I haven't seen this QR code tech fees yet. I used it at one restaurant yesterday. Where do you find out about the tech fees or the subscription service?

This will soon become like those Restaurant.com gift cards. No restaurant will honor them anymore. This is not a sustainable business.

When did this change? What do you mean you can't use the coupons with wallet money?
Possible workaround haven't tried

Can we ask the restaurant for two separate checks —
Use inKind balance on one, and apply the offer on the other.

Lol well mostly the only restaurants on them want to gain foot traffic in and not doing the best I think. You don't see Cheesecake Factory on there. There was California pizza kitchen lol so bad

Thanks OP for posting. Agree with both the complaints about stacking going away and the counter comments about it not being sustainable. Where they screwed up was burning their most frequent/loyal users and platform promoters that had stocked up on InKind credit to be a long time user and then taking away the stacking with little notice nor time. If they had communicated better and given more of a grace period I think folks would have felt less duped and eventually adapted. Customer service 101 fail.

There's a split check option when you pay if you have two accounts.

" Thousands of restaurants"? but unfortunately only a few near us that we might go to. And if it looked like we could easily do takeout, would consider it,but doesn't look like they want you to do takeout? Is there an easy way to do takeout? Is that even an option at most of their restaurants?
I've wondered this too. There are are only like 4 restaurants around here that do takeout on the app, and 3 of them are the same chain. I wonder if you can go in and order takeout in person and use inkind...?
