You can split the check within the inkind app, either by % or exact dollar amount. Folks have said they can use an offer for one part of the split check and inkind credit for the other portion.

Can someone explain to me how to split a check so I can use an offer to pay a portion of the bill (paid with credit card) and remaining amount with inkind cash/gift card? The restaurant I go to asks for the the total bill amount in the app instead of check number if that matters. Thanks.

I've been getting several mystery offers in $20 off $40 and $25 off $60 coupons. I only have a few days left where I can stack these coupons with Costco bought InKind gift cards. After the 30 days, it's no longer possible.

There are only 3 restaurants in my city that's on their list. I only go to 1. That restaurant always has 30% off gift card discounts plus buy $100 get $10 stackable sales.

I've been using InKind to eat there only because of the stacking with the $25off$50 coupon would exceed the discounts offered by the eatery. I bought over $1000 in GCs over Christmas. Discontinuing the stacking then there's no more incentive to eat there using InKind after I exhaust what I have.

To those who said the term change will weed out customers like me, who eats out everyday using the app, is uninformed and shortsighted. People like me who are big spenders on food (eating out everyday) is what keeps InKind on the map imho.

I think when they ask for the total bill amount, you can't split the payment. But when they ask for the check number, there's an option to split the bill.
Also, to use both the offer and inKind cash/gift card, your total needs to exceed the offer threshold. For example, if your bill is $40 and the offer is "$20 off $40," you'll have to pay the remaining $20 with a credit card. If your bill is $50 with the same offer, you still pay $20 by credit card, but you can split the bill and use inKind cash to pay the remaining $10.

Just used the last of my GCs (from previous Amazon deal) at Haven Hot Chicken in Hartford, CT area (awesome, btw!). We only have a couple of places we use this at, but travel frequently enough that we'd only ever lose out of InKind went under.

The only way we can really afford date nights at the better places near us is with GC deals like this.

As others have said, this deal used to be good when they allowed coupon stacking and usage of inkind cash. Not anymore.

Can you use the same Inkind account for both portions of the split check if trying to use an offer and balance at the same time? Or it has to be separate accounts?

That's correct. I found out last weekend when I tried using a coupon and my GC. It was one or the other.

I'm in a city of 300k and there are only 5 restaurants accepting this in the area. Definitely good to check their list before considering this deal
