Seems dumb, where you have to hold it upright to even tear paper off. Not useful if you only have one hand free which tends to be the case when cleaning a mess. Better to buy a 3D printed holder that installs to the wall or cabinet

It is heavy(ish) for exactly that reason. You tear downward.

These types have the worst design. It constantly unroll the papers and dangles with a long tail and hard to tear with one hand.
