This is a deal thread, so the comment section is most useful when the discussion is actually about the deal or anything else that helps people decide whether the post is worthwhile.
Dropping in just to say "unhealthy garbage" is not meaningful contribution, it's irrelevant commentary that adds no value to anyone interested in the deal.
Nobody is under the impression that candy is a health supplement. Stating that sugar candy contains sugar and food coloring is not some profound public service announcement.
What makes it especially odd is that it requires someone to intentionally click into a deal they already have no interest in, simply to leave a negative remark that helps neither shoppers nor themselves.
There are countless products on this site that any one person may dislike, find unhealthy, or consider low quality. If everyone used every deal thread as a place to announce that, the comments would become unusable.
