Slightly on the warm side, which means they are non-fatiquing. They are big, heavy and will dominate the room, but they are beautiful.
As for sound I am loving them. I'm hearing things I've never heard in favorite tracks.
As for what else I was looking at, the options were much more expensive Focal Sopras or B&Ws. So at this price it's a no brainer. You will need a nice amp/preamp to hear these at their best. Don't hesitate too long this is a screaming deal. I could return these if I didn't like them, but it would make more sense to sell them for a profit.
Not sure why this post didn't get more love. Probably because it was immediately buried under hundreds of posts of crap on sale. That's the big problem with this site now. Real Slickdeals are getting buried under crap deals.
