Right. I dont know what you mean by professional application. I am using Adobe apps and Figma for work and they run perfectly with 16gb of RAM.
I am a UX/UI designer and web developer. This machine is perfectly fine for me, even better when I was able to upgrade to 24gb, most MacOS app is optomized. I been using since the Macbook Air M2 16 for 3 years everyday. Just trade in and upgraded to M5 with Bestbuy trade in deal last week.

Model MDHH4LL/A has the 8-core GPU.

Update: I did some more research. More specifically, the 16GB/512GB model has the 8-core GPU, but the 16GB/1TB model has the 10-core GPU.

Back after this price after a short break. Costco says price valid until 5/10.
Still hoping for a better deal on an M4 that makes it worth it over this, but starting to think that may not happen...

FWIW Vmware Fusion, Parallels and Oracle VirtualBox can run on the Apple Silicon MBAs and are all capable of running Win11 for ARM as a Virtual Machine.
