How is this a deal when the 11th Gen i5 has been this price on the past and constantly goes on sale for $10-30 more?!
Yes that comes with half the storage but you can upgrade that later on, not the processor. And that MRSP is just click bait.

Difference between 10th and 11th gen isn't that big; 12th gen was considerably better. For the small additional price (of most product on offer) I would look for 12th-14th gen - small uplift, good performance jump. 10th gen is kinda pokey in 2026. Sure, it'll work fine, but if you're used to faster, you'll feel it.
When comparing CPUs, always focus on Passmark's Single Core speeds - the newer processors have significantly faster single core speeds, which is most of what you will feel in day to day use.
As someone who has had Latitudes for the past 20+ years, the new ones with the silver finish that flakes off, I will not buy another until they go back to black platic.
I did get the 14" EliteBook from Newegg with the Ryzen 5650U in November and really do like it. The battery needs to be replaced but is a way better laptop (unless you need to replace the keyboard.
This processor is 3 times slower and definitely not a deal.

I'm using a slightly older one of these (well cpu gen anyway) and ~$200 feels about right. They're not a $300 walmart special but they're also NO WHERE near a comparable class Dell or Lenovo.
