This is the brushed model with a 4.0 Ah battery. Lowe's has both this and the brushless saw tool only for $99.00. If you don't need batteries, then yeah, the brushless version at Lowe's is a better deal. Also, Lowe's shows this kit as OOS for me. I'm thinking this is older inventory they're trying to move.
