Yeah it should be cheaper, it's the worst aspects of both physical and digital combined in one.

Nintendo eShop had it for $23. Bought 2 of the $10 gift cards from Amazon that are on sale for $9 each, so wound up spending $21 even on the digital version (+ tax). Since these physical cards are just game key cards anyway, digital seemed like a great deal when stacked with the Amazon deal.

At least you can trade, sell, or borrow the game until the servers go down. The worst thing right now is code in box, like Fallout 4 on Switch.
