Friends don't let friends buy alienware peripherals. All of their computer accessories have bad reviews for a reason, they make "nice" stuff at a surface level that doesn't last, lacks features found on competitors, and has buggy software. I bought a headset a couple years ago on clearance at bestbuy thinking the negative reviews had to be over blown, but I was wrong and learned my lesson.

Unless some new product guy comes on and acknowledges the overpriced crap they've been peddling for years and vows to re-earn everyone's trust by releasing high quality, premium products, I'll never buy another product from them.

The majority, yes. But this headset specifically gets pretty good reviews all around.
