This is a great price for this cologne. I got this a month ago... smells very similar to Aqua Di Gio. Longevity is pretty good too

You do know all fragrances companies use synthetic ingredients, right? Designer and niche also use cheap ingredients.

There are many reasons a scent doesn't smell as appealing than others. Body pH, clean skin or not (big one), moisturized properly, scented vs unscented body wash, allowed enough time to dry down before leaving out (big one), it's a bad idea to spray on a scent right before being around others. Also what point of the dry down others experience your fragrance. Those are my top reasons, so with the concentration I.e. EDT, EDC, EDP, Parfum, we must do some experimenting before assuming it'll wow people in our presence. Just a thought.

If you like the AdG DNA, go for one of the more modern flankers like AdG Parfum instead, or one of their clones. Original AdG is a classic, but also kinda dated these days, and its longevity isn't very good.
