Nike Air Pegasus 2005 running shoes are being picked up as a low price running shoe, with the 2005 name referring to the style rather than an old pair. The standout draw is the roughly $35 price, which makes them appealing enough for repeat purchases. The main catches are limited size availability and shipping that can require adding items to reach the free shipping threshold. They are also clearly built for running, not fashion, so they fit best as a practical trainer.
people looking for a cheap pair of running shoes because commenters said the shoes are really designed for running and that at ~$35 they'd wear them (even buying a second pair after the first wore out).
buyers who are okay with limited sizing because commenters noted only certain sizes (like 8, 8.5, and 9) were available and still considered it a great deal at this price.
people who want to get free shipping without extra spending because commenters said they had to add filler items or spend around $59-$60 to qualify for free shipping even after signing up.
buyers who need a wide size range because commenters complained the sizes were very limited and only a few sizes were available, creating false hope if not clearly listed.
people shopping for fashion sneakers because commenters said it definitely isn't for fashion (and that it's not meant to be stylish).

For 35 bucks I"ll wear this ugly shoe. I even bought a 2nd pair when the first one dies...
