Nike Air Pegasus 2005 running shoes are being picked up as a low price running shoe, with the 2005 name referring to the style rather than an old pair. The standout draw is the roughly $35 price, which makes them appealing enough for repeat purchases. The main catches are limited size availability and shipping that can require adding items to reach the free shipping threshold. They are also clearly built for running, not fashion, so they fit best as a practical trainer.
The shoes are positioned as running-focused footwear for active use.
The $35 price point can justify buying a second pair after wear.
The model name likely refers to the 2005 style rather than an old shoe.
Shoe sizes can be very limited, which can create false hope for other shoppers.
Free shipping can require reaching a higher spend threshold even after membership signup.
Shoe availability may change after the deal is posted, with more sizes initially available.
The shoes may not suit fashion preferences because they are described as not for fashion.
