Not sure why this is being posted at the end of the semester, and at its high, as opposed to the back to school yearly sales, when smart shoppers stock up on on notebooks for the next year... the next decade, or even for lifetime supplies.

This brand of notebooks tend to be around ~$3-4 even during back to school sales.

At 20 cents a page on sale, even 40 cents a page during achool sales, suggest you change brands. It's just mead, and who makes it is pretty interchangable.
I have all the paper notebooks I need to last a lifetime, so won't be buying even the school sales. My favorite one is a french brand that came out as 196 page notebooks for 15 cents each (for all 196 pages). I have a lot of cases of this one - and it's quality, better than mead. A lot of people shop this way.

These appear to be 3.32 at Walmart and 3.99 at target. deal seems kinda slick.
Prices are always highest right before the school year ends and no one is buying - they already bought at the beginning of the semester / or year and are just thinking of getting out.

You know, I was looking at that, but I really don't think I know the brand, but the type of paper it is on it, I was mistaken about that and what I was reading: cahier séyès: cahier grands Carreaux 196 pages grand format 21 x 29,7 cm (8,28 x 11,69) conçu pour les étudiants du primaire, collège, lycée et ... les administrations, ...... (French Edition)
"The French term "grands carreaux" translates to "large tiles" or "large squares" in English, depending on the context.
In the context of writing and stationery, grands carreaux refers to French ruled paper (also known as Seyes paper). This is the standard grid paper used in French schools, characterized by 8mm x 8mm squares with lighter horizontal lines spaced 2mm apart within each square. It is primarily used to help students and learners improve cursive handwriting, calligraphy, and letter formation by providing consistent guidelines for height and spacing. "
It's a french style instead of using wide lines or narrow lines in college ruled paper we do. I find a like it a lot better for writing and drawing. Amazon sells a lot of versions of this style - but sometimes it is harder to find because the description is in french. The ones I bought had more pages, on much better thicker paper, and were grid style, and bound, instead of spiral college ruled.
It's not on sale like when I bought it, but even at $8.99 I'd probably still buy it over this notebook listed at $2.00 if I didn't already have so much of it. It's that much better. But that's my preference.
I have a lot of other college ruled notebooks from sales in the past, but these are my go to s now.
