I've used arlo cameras almost since the beginning when they were decent but as time went on they got worse and more expensive. I stopped at arlo 2 cams and only use them for temporary, unimportant tasks. I 100% do not recommend anything "arlo" when you need dependable equipment. This may fit a need but trust me, do not put your faith into anything with the "arlo" brand attached.

Yea, I was going to buy these the other day, 2 pack for $40, glad I didn't seeing this price especially. I saw you couldn't pair it with the old base station and HAD to use the cloud service, no thanks. I'll stick with the old ones I have that I already don't like anymore after all the changes

I agreed on the reliability...not very good. The one with battery needs charging too often...sometimes only lasted 3 weeks.
