Castle on ABC

Anyone else watch this?

Unfortunately I missed last week's episode, so last night's didn't quite explain itself and left me lost for a little bit. It was still pretty good though.

I haven't seen many episodes (only started watching about a month ago) but I think it's a pretty good show.

It's sorta like NCIS, without the Navy: pretty bizarre murders that take a somewhat predictable turn and then magically get solved before the episode ends.

What did you think about yesterday's series finale? How did Beckett know that the old detective dude was Lock Sat? The twist at the very end was surprising. But after all that Castle has been through, can't he get a better home security system? As Cris Carter would say, "C'mon, man!" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) And 7 years later, why did B&C look the same? Were the makeup artists on strike or dismissed by that point? Anyway, RIP "Castle". Sadwalk

I expect to be watching this tonight with the Wife. It will be bitter sweet I'm sure. That was one of her favorite shows, and I very much enjoy Nathan. We'll see what he does next.

They had way too much to cover in one episode... I think I enjoyed Nathan Fillion's live tweets over the episode its self. I'm still sad to see it go. Castle was an enjoyable show with just the right amount of tinfoil hat.

I can't wait to see Fillon's next project, he's going to be in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Can't say the same about Katic.

Yeah, ABC really screwed that up by not having a planned final season. Any show that runs for 3-4+ years should have a planned final season. I gave a bunch of examples last week of shows that had a real conclusion. Even "Firefly" that was cut off too soon at least had a movie, "Serenity", to somewhat wrap up that show.

Yeah, I saw a similar article as well. No link right now.

I was surprised because I always thought people enjoyed working with Fillion. This is the first time I had heard of something like this pointing at him being the problem.

One article about this, with an unnamed 'source', vs. dozens (perhaps hundreds) of articles saying Katic was difficult makes me suspect that Katic was the problem.
