Castle on ABC

Anyone else watch this?

Unfortunately I missed last week's episode, so last night's didn't quite explain itself and left me lost for a little bit. It was still pretty good though.

I haven't seen many episodes (only started watching about a month ago) but I think it's a pretty good show.

It's sorta like NCIS, without the Navy: pretty bizarre murders that take a somewhat predictable turn and then magically get solved before the episode ends.

Here are a couple articles I found after a quick Google. Who knows how substantiated these claims are. Maybe one day one or both of these actors will write a book to tell all.

I don't know enough yet to blame Fillion or Katic. So I'll just blame ABC that even if this tension existed between the 2 for the past few years, ABC could've made a shortened 6-10 episode Season 9 to give the show a better and more thought out conclusion.

What makes me suspect that the blame is on Katic is that Fillion gets on so well with his former acting partners, to the point that he's brought them into Castle for cameo roles and they all seem to be genuine friends IRL. Plus he does the Firefly fan stuff with the rest of the cast. An actor who was a prima donna probably wouldn't do all of that.

Edit: I follow all of them on Twitter and watch a lot of the online stuff they've done together over the years.

Seeing that Beckett's character would've been killed off if there was a final season, I'm kind of glad they didn't go in that direction. Oh well, this show will RIP. Sadwalk

Off topic, I'm looking forward to the return of Jack Bauer, I mean Kiefer Sutherland, in "Designated Survivor" that will take over the time slot of another canceled show, "Nashville".
