5 million people seem to disagree. Most the issues people had in the first week have been fixed.

But you can always go back to Assassins creed shadows..

how are you... assuming that everyone who bought the game enjoyed it. i bought it and didnt.

i went back to ghost of tsushima and pragmata. maybe ill try cd again in a year or so and see if it clicks then. i had the same thing happen with a few other games i initially hated. but i doubt it will happen with cd honestly. there is no underlying goodness to discover in it.

not my cup of tea.

I tried to enjoy this game but really couldn't. It feels soulless and the controls are even worse then people were making them seem.

The game is high quality in certain aspects but in game it feel very janky to play.

I recommend not buying, even for $40. Simple because the game is not worth the time you would spend playing it, regardless of the game price. In my opinion
CD isn't for everyone, especially those who prefer games that give you directions on where to go and are used to games that hold hands. It has the old-school gameplay where you have to figure it out on your own or rely on the community.

They have had so many updates on this game making what you say a non factor.

single player games are an easy wait for $30 or less. No coop? No pvp? Why pay more?
Some of us only do single player. Some of us don't care about coop, pvp? Why would I pay anything to play that?

The only reason I say this is because paying more for a game with online features can be incentivized by having friends you play with and typically has a relevant timeframe.

Single player games don't need to be played day 1 at full price because (like nearly all single player games do) they get beaten and traded in and the hype fades.

The concept applies to thrifty people who would be on here, even if they don't play online games at all. Play some discount single player titles while you wait for this one to drop, and play that while you wait for others to drop.
Best selling game this year is resident evil nine at seventy dollars, a singleplayer game. People have 200 hours into this game and still haven't beaten it. I cant summon beings to help you fight, fly on dragons, have pets, have a horse that runs on water, do wrestling moves with a sword in hand with any of those coop or pvp games that you mentioned or you are thinking about. Cant jump into a robot mech, can't use a jetpack and also this game has guns. Thats all that I can name off the top of my head and theres probably way more but im only 67 hours in on chapter 4 out of 15 chapters.

surprise surprise -- a game by the devs of a MMO game (Black Desert) has poor narrative and the most blandest hero
.
I knew it was gonna be a disconnected, low-quality random time-waster when it was first revealed the number of "quests" in the 400's. yet people are glazing this game just because you can do wacky and random stuff.

I recently bought this game used for $50, waiting for it arrive.

The Devs seem to be fixing most of the issues and taking feedback.
I feel like this game is more for people who do all side quest, before main story.
It's a time waster, but what rpg isn't?

Some games don't tend to drop in price often, not sure if this is one of them.(at least on console/PS5)

For example Black Myth: Wukong hasn't dropped under $50 New on amazon and rarely on sale.
I got it for $40 on ebay and feel it's a good price.
I think Lies of P and Indiana Jones and Great Circle also had/have rare price drops.

I do agree though, single player drop in price faster, usually within 1-2 months.
Not much incentive to buy right away.

I'd expect a large single player game to be more because of all the development time and assets necessary to keep experiences feeling novel for the player rather than just relying on the same gameplay loops over and over again of pvp.

This is one of the best game I've ever played on PS5. It's gorgeous, runs great on base PS5 and the developers are constantly improving it. So many things to see and do, so many items to collect. Yes, there are a lot of control combos but you will learn them. It's one of the few games where I've felt no regret at paying full price for it. At this price, it's a no brainer. If you are struggling with the game, I'd recommend a walkthrough, done by "Absoulem" on youtube.

Looks like a fun game but it seems to have no story, I'll wait until 20 for sure.
