I first saw these at Marshalls maybe a year ago.The adizero line is Adidas top of the line for running so I got excited. They are more of a "lifestyle" and "casual wear' shoe than anything performance related. Walking in them would be great as they are comfortable and have a lot of cushioning.
Be aware they look HUGE in person. Almost platform shoe like. Your foot sits lower inside of them than where it appears from the picture...but make no mistake, they look clunky.
These are "rocker style" shoes. I have plenty of "rocker style" running shoes. It's a bit unnatural at first but you get used to it pretty quickly.

It looks ugly btw
Yes, many Adidas shoes are made in China, as it is one of the brand's primary manufacturing hubs alongside Vietnam and Indonesia. While Adidas has shifted some production to other Southeast Asian nations, China remains a significant supplier for Adidas footwear, accessories, and apparel.

Key Details on Adidas Manufacturing:
- Production Locations: Besides China, Adidas products are manufactured in Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and India.
- Vietnam vs. China: While China is a major producer, Vietnam has become the largest sourcing country for Adidas footwear.
- Product Variation: As discussed in a Reddit forum post, you may find the same model of shoe (like Superstars) produced in different countries, including China or Indonesia
- Quality Consistency: Manufacturing is spread across various factories, but the company uses a diverse, global network to maintain standards across locations.

Will take a while to get used to it as I'm used to more superstar/campus types and am a heel striker so need something with a softer heell like a running shoe but these were a good price. Standing up seems to make me want to bias either forward for backward and I hope the mid softens up.
