Buying all these three sets is cheaper than getting whole Saga Bundle for $69.99

Thanks OP!

Thanks OP, much better deal than the complete collection since you can just buy the Lucas films and skip the rest.

Next year is the 50th anniversary of the original Star Wars. There is a significant amount of buzz around the likelihood that Disney is working on Official 4k Remasters of the OT. Petr Harmáček (Harmy) has suspended his work on the Despecialized Editions in part that he believes Disney is planning to release new original OT versions and there is already a fair amount of evidence this is happening. So, for those interested, you might hold off for now on buying yet ANOTHER copy of the original trilogy to see what drops in 2027.

Same prices on Amazon Prime. Bought the sequel trilogy there and The Last Jedi didn't port over to MA. MA support sent a canned response, so it's probably a widespread, hopefully temporary, issue.

And yeah, Disney is definitely going to list the new restorations as separate titles so that people double-dip.

"Hopefully Temporary"... MA and Amazon have both said for almost 6 months that Nobody 2 not porting to MA from Prime was a "temporary issue", but it still hasn't ported, and they reply to my support requests quoting their previous "resolved soon" response with that exact same response. You can see that Prime is still "greyed out" as an MA option for (at least) this MA movie here: https://moviesanywhere.com/movie/...=retailers

Guessing you can look up the same retailer list for Last Jedi on the MA site and see if Amazon is even shown as an option yet. Other movies have ported over without issue, but I wish there was a list of MA movies that MA won't accept for Prime sales. Seems like it should be an all or nothing deal.

It's been that way for a few days, probably for "May the 4th". I only need one of the originals at 4K, so I am hoping the individual movies go down in price more.

I hope this is true. I recently watched the 4k77 version of Star Wars after decades of only seeing the special editions and I was blown away by how beautiful it was. Then I followed it up with the special editions of the other two and wanted to throw my tv out the window during that awful new song in Jabba's palace. I also realized there are tons of people younger than me who only know the special editions and will be lose it when they finally see what these movies originally were.

The link pulls up the Apple TV page for Star Wars. However, there are no prices and no links to purchase. Am I missing something?

I was just going to ask. When you say, "original" do you mean original or do you mean ORIGINAL. I guess that's my answer. Next year it is.

Does Disney have access to the actual original cuts? I thought Lucas basically destroyed them after he made his bastardized editions.
