Next year is the 50th anniversary of the original Star Wars. There is a significant amount of buzz around the likelihood that Disney is working on Official 4k Remasters of the OT. Petr Harmáček (Harmy) has suspended his work on the Despecialized Editions in part that he believes Disney is planning to release new original OT versions and there is already a fair amount of evidence this is happening. So, for those interested, you might hold off for now on buying yet ANOTHER copy of the original trilogy to see what drops in 2027.

Buying all these three sets is cheaper than getting whole Saga Bundle for $69.99

Thanks OP!

Thanks OP, much better deal than the complete collection since you can just buy the Lucas films and skip the rest.

Same prices on Amazon Prime. Bought the sequel trilogy there and The Last Jedi didn't port over to MA. MA support sent a canned response, so it's probably a widespread, hopefully temporary, issue.

And yeah, Disney is definitely going to list the new restorations as separate titles so that people double-dip.

"Hopefully Temporary"... MA and Amazon have both said for almost 6 months that Nobody 2 not porting to MA from Prime was a "temporary issue", but it still hasn't ported, and they reply to my support requests quoting their previous "resolved soon" response with that exact same response. You can see that Prime is still "greyed out" as an MA option for (at least) this MA movie here: https://moviesanywhere.com/movie/...=retailers

Guessing you can look up the same retailer list for Last Jedi on the MA site and see if Amazon is even shown as an option yet. Other movies have ported over without issue, but I wish there was a list of MA movies that MA won't accept for Prime sales. Seems like it should be an all or nothing deal.

It's been that way for a few days, probably for "May the 4th". I only need one of the originals at 4K, so I am hoping the individual movies go down in price more.
