It's a good deal if you want an enterprise notebook. The build quality is fantastic and there's generous RAM. These aren't really optimized for games, though. Fine for simple games. Don't bother with an AAA title.

Is this a good deal? I just want a daily driver to play some games on etc. Hopefully without breaking the bank too much.

I had this for work. Great laptop, but 250 nits is not enough even for bright indoors.

Here is my advice...

The 8845HS Ryzen 7 is an AMAZING CPU with a 780m GPU (can actually play the newest games.. on lower settings but the games are playable such as BolderGate 3).

Look for it used on Facebook or Ebay, such as this one. 16GB and 1TB.
