The 77 inch LG C5 OLED evo stands out as a strong value for a premium OLED with installation included. The picture is praised as excellent, and the bundled mount and installation add real convenience. Access to the LG Partner Store can be unlocked through Beneplace or a Hulu trial, and private browsing helped with login. The main cautions are that the price was lower last week, the C5 has been called out for dithering noise, and the 77 inch C6H may bring a much bigger upgrade later this year.
Common Questions (5)
Registering at beneplace.com can provide access to the LG Partner Store, and some threads also mention access through a Hulu account. Using a private/incognito window when logging in can help the sign-in work properly.
No; it was reportedly $1,420 last week, so this $1,499.99 offer is not the lowest recent price. It is still described as a better buy than a prior $1,400 LG B5 deal at Best Buy.
The 77-inch C6H is expected to be a much bigger upgrade, with roughly twice the brightness and a different OLED panel similar to the G line. It is also reported to remove the C5/G5 dithering issue, but it is not due until end of year or early next year.
The C5 and G5 are reported to have dithering that can show up as visible noise in some videos, especially compared with other OLEDs. The issue is said to be less noticeable unless you are close to the screen, and the B5 is cited as not having it because of older panel tech.
Yes, the deal is reported to include free mount and Angie mounting service, along with the TV purchase. One buyer also mentioned getting a free 5-day Hulu trial to access the store.
