I bought this model on the same deal at Costco and I bought a AOC 1440p QD-OLED that was posted here for 339.99 a few days apart from each other. I'm using both of them in a light controlled environment and find them both to be plenty bright for gaming, they probably use the same panel.

If I had to pick one again, I'd go with this one. It's 280 Hz versus 240 Hz and I find the OSD easier to use on the Acer. The stand is also a little better but it has a rather large footprint on my desk but otherwise no complaints and while some people complain about text quality on QD-OLED panels, I find it to be decent enough.

Yikes if true: "Every hour it has a pop-up that takes over the screen and asks to turn the monitor off for 6 minutes. There is so way to disable this and if you accidentally nudge the controls slightly to try and cancel it, it activates half the time."

Wow. That's making it easy to pass up.
