The QM6K Pro comes across as a bright, gaming-friendly 75 inch Mini LED TV with strong picture quality for the money. It handles sunny rooms well, works cleanly with PS5 and VRR, and gets praise for natural motion, solid dark scenes, and very good filmmaker mode. The Costco Pro version adds a special screen coating and the 5 year warranty is a nice bonus. Main caveats are some glare, occasional haloing in end credits, and a reported backlight power cycle issue. A capable big screen if you want strong performance without moving up to OLED.

Is this TV good for bright rooms? Also is it good for gaming with a ps5 pro?
Any input would be appreciated.
I have this TV but 65" model. My set up direct to the window. In daytime, it's still good. In nighttime, it will be better. I using them for PS5, and movie. Absolutely perfect for that price

I brought this end of February as my old LG broke for $799.99. Love the TV in bright room!
Just saw this posted and reached out to Costco and asked nicely for a price match. Was thinking it might be a hassle to return and rebuy. To my surprise the chat agent quickly processed the "courtesy" refund. Best use of 3 minutes for $120!!

What do you think of it?
I just ordered after a year of checking bestbuy and sd. Coming from a 4 year old direct lit bb sharp. Have an OLED widescreen in my command center for a year

canceled bestbuy order and ordered one on costco.com. anyone know the difference between the costco Pro and regular QM6K?
The QM6K and QM6K Pro are basically identical TVs but the Pro has the same "CrystGlow" panel coating as the QM7K and QM8K. From TCL.com:

CrystGlow Screen
5x Contrast Enhancement

The liquid crystal layer adopts nanoscale bionic technology. Polyimide is added to the liquid crystal molecules to form a sphenoidal microstructure, which accurately controls the optics passing through the liquid crystal layer and greatly improves the contrast. Also equipped with a nanoscale low-reflective film to reduce screen reflection, presenting clearer details.

I feel your pain. I had a really nice 75 inch LG OLED that my son's friend broke with a nerf gun. Luckily it was within accidental credit card protection. I then bought a much cheaper 85 inch TV and, despite numerous warnings not to shoot his hockey pucks, he still shot one into TV.
Maybe put a heavy moving blanket over the TV next time he comes over? Or put a heavy moving blanket over the kid...?

the Hisense 75QD7QF seems to be a better bargain? - Hisense 75" Class QD7 Series MiniLED QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart Fire TV (2025) 75QD7QF - Best Buy

At these prices, the Hisense 75QD7QF at $500 is the better value, while the TCL QM6K Pro at $680 is the better TV overall for picture quality and processing. The TCL's advantage is meaningful, but whether it's worth the extra $180 depends on how much you care about movie performance and gaming polish versus saving money.
Direct call

Pick TCL QM6K Pro if you want the better all-around display. RTINGS says the QM6K has better overall picture quality, gets a bit brighter in HDR and SDR, and handles low-quality content better than the Hisense QD7QF. It also supports 144Hz on all sizes, which is a nice gaming edge.
Pick Hisense 75QD7QF if you want the best deal. The QD7QF is still a 75-inch QD-Mini LED set with 144Hz at this size, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and strong gaming features, so it covers the important basics well at a much lower price.
What the extra $180 buys

The TCL's extra cost buys you better black levels, better processing, and slightly better HDR brightness. That matters most for movie watching in a dark room, lower-quality streaming, and people sensitive to blooming/contrast issues.
The Hisense saves money and still gives you a very capable big-screen Mini-LED with the key modern features most buyers want. In simple terms, it is the better "bang for buck" choice, especially if this is a family room TV or you mostly watch streaming and sports.

The Hisense 75" U65QF is currently available for $500 at Costco & Best Buy. Overall... it's a better TV than the QD7QF series... and the 5 Yr Warranty is a bonus when purchasing through Costco. Per RTINGS, the U65QF offers more brightness, better colors, and better processing... while the QD7QF offers better contrast.
