For you maybe. Project farm reviewed the craftsman & dewalt both to be better or same as milwaukee.
Craftsman batteries are much cheaper than milwaukee so imo craftsman would be better

Anyone know if you can charge a V20 battery in this if plugged in or do you need to connect battery to an actual battery charger?

I'm fairly certain it does not charge the v20 batteries. This is a great deal RN, however: https://slickdeals.net/f/19476570-craftsman-v20-20-volt-1-pack-lithium-ion-4-0-ah-battery-39-at-lowe-s?src=frontpage

That deal would still require them to buy a charger

You're correct….that's my mistake.

Used this yesterday to fill air in my car. Pretty solid for the price imo, not as heavy duty as dewalt but gets the job done easily.

i keep this in my trunk. works well for inflating tires, i like how you can set the max pressure and let it do its thing. also use it to inflate a kid's pool with the nozzle attachment.

If anyone has one of these, are they good inflators for automobiles?

Note this thing's 2-of-7min duty cycle means it's definitely not meant to be used for lengthy inflation tasks:
WARNING: FOR HOME AND CAR USE ONLY: Inflate bike tires, balls, rafts, swimming pool floats, air mattresses, and more in and around the home. Recommended maximum continuous duty at 65 p.s.i.g. is 2 minutes on with 5 minutes off.

I've had this now for over two years. Actually ran over it last year by accident, it still works like a champ.

I have had one for a few years that handles the 33" tires on my Jeep like a champ.

I have had this for a few years and it works great! My son even forgot it outside in the rain a few times and no issues. It works just as well as others for a lot less money. I have Milwaukee, Metabo, and the Craftsman cordless tools and really for the $$ the Craftsman is very hard to beat for a homeowner. I originally got a weed trimmer so my GF wouldn't be using my Milwaukee batteries but then I bought a bunch of other Craftsman stuff. I think at the time there was a deal where I got (2) batteries and a tool free so I picked up the compressor. I also have the jigsaw, sander, 16 ga nailer, and the weed trimmer. I am happy with all of them.
