This is a very compact low profile RTX 5060 built for small form factor cases, and its main appeal is fitting where full size cards cannot. The newer generation, warranty, and DLSS features add value, and the card is described as the strongest low profile option available for gaming. The big drawback is the 8GB memory, which feels tight for modern use, and the deal math is only $20 off, not 20 percent. It makes the most sense when size matters more than raw value.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The premium is mainly for the low-profile form factor, and it is framed as a niche buy for cases that can only fit a small GPU. It also gets newer-generation features and warranty support versus a used card.
8GB is considered tight for modern needs, with 12GB or 16GB preferred for more headroom. For AI and LLM use, it can still work by spilling into system RAM, but that can increase wait times by 2-3x.
A used RTX 3070 around $250 can offer better raw performance for about $100 less, but the 5060 LP BRK brings the low-profile form factor, newer DLSS features, warranty, and AV1 encode support. The 3070 is also described as lacking AV1 encode.
It has 16GB of VRAM and runs on PCIe slot power at 70W, but its GPU performance is closer to a 5050 and is described as much slower for gaming than the 5060. It is a cheaper alternative if memory capacity matters more than gaming speed.
No. The discount is $20 off, not 20% off, so the deal is much smaller than it first appears.

That should boost performance a bunch, plus XESS is superior to DLSS.
DLSS frame gen goes to x6 with better frame pacing than xess frame gen which only goes to x4.
XESS upscaling is a bit worse than dlss 3/fsr 4 so not really there either.
The only thing xess is better than is fsr frame gen
