This is a very compact low profile RTX 5060 built for small form factor cases, and its main appeal is fitting where full size cards cannot. The newer generation, warranty, and DLSS features add value, and the card is described as the strongest low profile option available for gaming. The big drawback is the 8GB memory, which feels tight for modern use, and the deal math is only $20 off, not 20 percent. It makes the most sense when size matters more than raw value.

There's a world of difference between 20% off and $20...Anyway I think a used 3070 ~ $250 is much more enticing. With no tax you basically get better performance for $100 less.

I don't know if its officially supported, but looks relatively easy to add XESS Multi-Frame Generation to the drivers of this card.
That should boost performance a bunch, plus XESS is superior to DLSS.
you are thinking of fsr.
DLSS frame gen goes to x6 with better frame pacing than xess frame gen which only goes to x4.
XESS upscaling is a bit worse than dlss 3/fsr 4 so not really there either.
The only thing xess is better than is fsr frame gen

The upcharge is for the form factor mainly, also newer generation(s) and warranty are a big plus as well vs. a used 3070.

Bingo. The devil is in the details. Nobody is going to consider this card when there are much cheaper more powerful options. You would only consider getting this when you need a low profile card, of which there are few options. One of those mentioned was the Intel B50, which has more ram but less powerful from a GPU point of view. Other than that there are really few other options in the low profile form factor. There have been a couple of prototype cards at CES were near peers competitors of the 8gb 5060 but they have never gone to production, so most of the people building SFF PCs in a low profile form factor have resorted to this card as their most powerful option.

3070 is seriously obsolete, this has the newest dlss, the 3070 doesn't even have av1 encode.
