QD-OLED has fewer issues, brighter colors, slightly better off-angle viewing, etc. Any OLED is going to be awesome, but QD-OLED has a slight edge (at least for now - the 2026 LGs are looking pretty nice, as long as they can get their firmware issues under control).

It's because of their refusal to support Dolby Vision. They think everyone is going to switch to HDR10 because they won't yield, but it's backfiring with many people. I'd much rather have DV than HDR10.
Samsung's apps feel quite a bit further behind than LG's but I'd be willing to overlook that if that were the only problem.
