Yea I believe that was a price error on their end and they fixed it pretty quick. This is probably the best deal that is widely available.

S90F, easily.

QD-OLED has fewer issues, brighter colors, slightly better off-angle viewing, etc. Any OLED is going to be awesome, but QD-OLED has a slight edge (at least for now - the 2026 LGs are looking pretty nice, as long as they can get their firmware issues under control).

Watch this video for a comparison betwen QD-OLED (most Samsungs) and WOLED (pretty much all LG OLEDs)

Eh, not easily. I went the 77" C5 route.

The LG C5 OLED and the Samsung S90F OLED trade blows. They're about equally as bright in most HDR content, although the S90F is a bit brighter in Game Mode. In SDR, however, the C5 is way brighter. The S90F does handle direct reflections better, but the C5's black levels barely raise in bright environments, while the S90F's blacks become charcoal gray in the same context. The S90F's QD-OLED panel is far more colorful than the C5's WOLED panel, which is expected. They're about equally as good for gaming, although the C5's Dolby Vision support does give it the slight edge for Xbox gamers

I would easily take this. Samsung's OLEDs are notorious for quality control issues. QD-OLED is also terrible for a bright room. The black levels get raised and look grey when any light hits the TV. That doesn't happen with WOLED (which is what this TV is). You'll keep the inky black levels in a bright room. The only thing the Samsung has on this is the better color, because of QD-OLED, but you get Dolby Vision with this, which already looks fantastic and is the better technology compared to HDR10+. These are just much more reliable TVs, in general, which is why the Samsungs are always cheaper. This is also better for gaming, if that's your thing.

Any chance there is a code for a smaller panel? 65 inch would look silly in the room I want to put it

Having both LG OLED and Samsung OLED of different models, I have to say that if I could do it over, I'd have both LG's. I love Samsung's colors.

It's because of their refusal to support Dolby Vision. They think everyone is going to switch to HDR10 because they won't yield, but it's backfiring with many people. I'd much rather have DV than HDR10.

Samsung's apps feel quite a bit further behind than LG's but I'd be willing to overlook that if that were the only problem.
