i had the non fuel version of this and ended up burning it up. now i have the dewalt 20v that is similar to this and its awesome.

Good price but this is the only M12 I have that I don't like. I don't know if the blades travel is way too little but it just doesn't cut well

I have the M18 Fuel version of this and it cuts great. Longer stroke than the M12 and can be had for $193.98 if you don't mind doing the standard "hack" of sorts.

Go to this M18 link [homedepot.com] and select " Shop this offer" under Free gift with purchase.
Select the Jigsaw [homedepot.com]and add deal to cart.

Total order will be $329
Return the jigsaw - $135.02

M12 has a brushless (Fuel) and a brushed. Are you sure the Fuel is weak?

I agree, the M12 Fuel Hackzall doesn't even come close to the M18 Fuel Hackzall. I am selling mine, and bought another M18, the difference isn't even close.
