FYI this is old new stock, manufactured pre-2017. Sears doesn't have the new Stanley Black & Decker Craftstman tools.

I didnt know Sears was still around and selling Craftsman stuff too.

I bought the 5-100lbs digital Click Torque Wrench for $100. The first time subscriber discount did not work.

Definitely the old stuff, not a bad thing. Just got warranty replacement stuff for a breaker bar and screwdriver, the new stuff is garbage compared to my old stuff from 20yrs ago that was made in the States.

Was this model made in the States then?

No, Taiwan. In the 10-15 years leading up to the brand's sale, Craftsman began to move production of precision tools like this to Taiwan, only wrenches, sockets, etc... were USA made.

Link, please. Thx

I found it:

The website is totally screwed up. Look at the text of the link. Yet it comes up to the 3/8 Torque wrench page............

Doesn't give much confidence in what you'll get if you order or when you'll get it with a screwed up system like that.....

I wonder how these compare to the Harbor Freight Pittsburgh ones (3/8 for $20 and 1/2 for $22) for something I'd use once every few years probably.

I had one of these in 1/2" and it failed, causing me to over torque what I was tightening at the time. Not a bad price, but I wouldn't use it for anything important.

Any good $20 fillers? Spent a bit of time looking but didn't find much.

I just went ahead and bought both. I figured what the hell, it's only $20 more than searching for a filler
