We grabbed one at this price about 2 weeks ago for a teenager bedroom, currently antenna only. So far, it's pretty solid. Very familiar Roku interface and remote, easy setup, good picture. No complaints at all, just that if you're using antenna you can't scroll through the channels quickly and delete the bad ones, you have to go 3 menus deep each time. First world problems.

I'm wondering why this has been down voted. I'm not real savvy with TV specs these days.

I guess because it's a 60hz panel and people must have120hz.
Also Pioneer TVs are not what they used to be....... Chinese manufactures pay a fee to use the Pioneer name but the TV is generic Chinese.

Yes....a TV for the upper-class.
Constructed from solid metal and glass, they were built to last; many people are still using them today. They offered elite performance, though they are exceptionally pricey and heavy.
*Only doctors, lawyers and plumbers could afford them!

It's true, never cared about tv growing up. Only got into it recently and know about LG / Sony etc. So 30 years of not caring too much about them lol

Mine, 20 years later and still crisp—had to give it away because it clearly wasn't planning on dying first.

The pioneer tv's were on sale a couple weeks ago but didn't get much attention. Looks like the sale is back. Nobody that owned one had anything bad to say. I'd get one if i needed another cheap tv.

I bought the Xumo based Pioneer 50" last year and have not been happy with it. The OS is slow, which is fine, but any 3rd party stick (Fire, Roku) that I plug into HDMI loses audio sync over time. Some have theorized it is a hardware issue. Check reviews closely if you plan to use a 3rd party device with this TV.

I've had this for a couple months and it's fine for everything but HDR which looks like hot garbage and can't be disabled in the dev menu like on some Roku TVs. Hooked up an external Roku to force 4K SDR from streaming apps which looks good enough. Also the headphone jack sounds like it's possessed and it's unusable on mine. Other than those gripes, it's been fine for a secondary set.

We got one of the 55" versions a few months ago and haven't had any issues. It's a garage TV, but I like it better than the TCL or Hisense options in the same price range.

If there's a better deal I'd like to see it. Got this as a gift for someone and it's killer for the price.
