The Roku is built into the TV. I don't have a "Roku". The software is built into. I'm thinking I need to try HDMI 1 port instead of the 2nd port because I think the first port might be 2.1 but I have the TV mounted and don't feel like taking it off the wall to swap the cable.
I meant the same. My Roku is also built into!

Hard resetting my Roku worked for my HDMI issue. On remote press the Home button five times, then Up, Rewind twice, and Fast Forward twice
They missed their chance to make it: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Play.

Look, you don't need a shitty TV... your WIFE is right... she is ALWAYS right.

You need to wait until you have about $100k saved up in the bank... and only then you can beg. And if you think I am being harsh... my wife temper is BAD!!! And I need to save up 1 million, so you have it easy.

P.S. And I still don't have a new big TV and I saved like I am suppose to Frown, life is sometimes not fair.
Woah, so much to unpack with this post. I think if you buy a $278 tv and this is going to cause this many issues maybe its time to think about parting ways. I get it if you are living paycheck to paycheck but this is essentially the same price as a night stay on vacation.

I own this very tv and wouldn't recommend it. I should have bought the extended warranty, because the backlight is dead. Also, this tv was made in 2020. I bought mine in 2021.
I bought mine in 2021 also, still running great. My power button is on the left side. The TV in this post has a centered power button, probably different televisions at this point.

Great catch on noticing the placement of the power button, but it's the same exact Model # I bought back in December 2021. I know this because I've kept the Brickseek email I received when the price dropped from $598 to only $200. I asked Walmart's AI when this was released and here is the response. "The onn. 70" Class 4K UHD Roku Smart Television, model 100012588, was released in 2020."

Look, if it was a cell phone I would maybe agree with you but this is A HUNK OF JUNK that will sit in your living room for every. Not everyone wants a TV the size of your walls.

The fact that you are so fixated to the COST... you probably missed his wife's point completely.

Also, there is a chance... when you are 15K in credit card debt BUYING ANYTHING could be the straw that breaks the camel's back... including a cell phone.

Point is... you don't know their dynamics, you don't know what kind of couple they are, but you are making telling them to get divorced EVEN if they live pay check to pay check and can not afford a $300 luxury.

Do you understand how to become rich... it is a direct relationship to how much you save and it is the complete opposite as how much you spend. I only retired when my personal investments payed me equal to 400% of my yearly salary... KEY WORD, Personal INVESTMENTS.

Someone that has 15k in credit card debt is either living paycheck to paycheck or they don't understand basic finance. Either way they shouldn't be spending on anything that is un-necessary like this. But, I don't think the poster that mentioned his wife is in this boat based on what he said.
