Actually, if you look back at Slickdeals posts over the last couple of years (or have been keeping an eye on this), you will note that this price has not been this low very often. I agree that in prior years, it was not uncommon. On the Dyson site, it is also not common that it goes on sale for this price and includes all 5 attachments and includes that stand. (which I agree is not worth the price they sell it for, but it is nice if it is already included). The idea of paying $300 for a hair dryer is something you have to decide for yourself if it is worthwhile, but that is a different discussion.

I just used one of these at a friend's place. Nondifferent than a cheap 20$ connair dryer. Save your money and just waste 5 minutes every year cleaning the lint out of the intake. What a complete waste of money imho.

This is currently $179.99 on ebay directly from Dyson for factory refurbished, 2 year warranty.
We picked one up 6 months ago, no issues so far. Came in a plain box but looked new with light scuffs.

Been happy with mine. The biggest pro is smaller footprint and the noise level is adequate. Some blow dryers are super loud and after using all the time gets annoying fast, also for those around you too. I did buy mine refurbished though, so even cheaper than this. I got mine with all attachments, but they have one with 3 attachments now for $189.99

Same here. We bought a refurbished one from Walmart sold by Dyson and it going great.

Mine died after just a handful of uses. Dyson wouldn't help or fix. I would nottt recommend 👎

I was thinking of picking up a new dryer for my dog and occasionally myself. I don't mind spending the money but is it better spent elsewhere? I have a cheapo old one that's really loud, figured my dog would appreciate something quieter.
Just purchased a shellandy on amazon and we'll see how that is.

lower temp, stronger blower and dries faster without damaging hair. Better for oily younger hair. Dyson hair dryer is a good buy; just avoid their vacuums.
