I can see buying these and having them around for emergencies, but they do expire. Dunno how long, but from what I could find, probably a couple of years (assuming they're fresh)

Dentist perspective: these will help with soft tissue/gum problems... for an actual tooth ache, these aren't really going to do anything. You're better off taking a combo of ibuprofen and Tylenol.
