Agree on the not working on Stardust / Luminous. Getting $135.92 for 10x stardust after both discount codes and before tax.

I have not had very good luck with Creality filament. It definitely needs to be dried, a lot, and I personally can't get it to print anywhere near the speeds they say it can print at. But for $10 a roll it's better then some no name from AliExpress.


Buying Polymaker, Bambu, etc when they have there good sales and spools are $13 - $14 each is worth the extra money though.

Creality filament quality is heavily dependent on the line. The "Ender" line for PLA is really bad, but "Ender Fast" is pretty decent and "Hyper PLA" is probably some of my favorite PLA available.
Same goes for PETG, their "CR PETG" is not great, but ok and their "Hyper PETG" is really good.

I made the mistake of buying 12 rolls of their Soleyin PLA because it was $7 a roll. I've never had PLA absorb moisture as fast as that stuff. You had to dry it on a PETG setting for at least 12 hours and then once it was exposed to air you had 3 - 5 days to print before needing to be dried again. Horrible stringing otherwise. Some colors printed great, some were awful, 2 out of the 12 spools had tangles, one so bad I threw it in the garbage with 600g left.

And thats what I mean about consistency. Every type of Bambu or PolyMaker I've bought (PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, etc) has all printed well and so far not a single tangle.
