I'm going to put it out there that I enjoyed this film. It's a campy goofy unrealistic and predictable action horror fantasy flick that is somehow works and entertains like Army of Darkness.

This is an amazing movie, especially if you have an awesome home theater! Easily worth this price.

Saw this a long time ago... it's turn-off-brain and enjoy type of movie... but Gemma looks awesome in it.

Community Reviews

Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters is a campy, goofy action horror fantasy that works best as a turn your brain off popcorn movie. The home theater presentation gets a boost from the 4K format, and the film is described as entertaining, family friendly fun with Gemma Arterton standing out. The unrated cut is said to be better, but it is not included on the 4K disc. The main caution is that the movie is widely seen as dumb, terrible, or not worth paying for, so its appeal depends on wanting a light, silly watch.

This is one of the dumbest '00s action flicks that I've ever seen. Borrow it from the library if you want to see it. Not worth $7.

Came here to see if the movie was as bad as I thought it was. Turned it off about 30 minutes in -- thankfully it was streaming on one of my services, couldn't imagine paying for it.

The mixed reviews here piqued my curiosity. I thought it might be one of the dumb but fun movies. However, 18% critic score and 53% audience score on RT. I'm gonna pass. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/...ch_hunters

How does a 17% rotten tomatoes movie get a 4k remaster (yes it's a lazy upscale) but actually good movies are still waiting around for it Frown

Opinions vary. I think The Godfather is one of the worst movies ever made, yet some people love it. Different strokes for different folks.

I already have the 3D version, and somehow ended up with the digital 4K version, so I guess I'll pass.

Thanks - this statement alone decided me not to buy it! 🙂
