A new e-mail has been sent. Mine went to Spam, so I'm just giving a heads up. A couple months ago, people were being notified that their claims were excessive and required submission of receipts. This has been amended.
"Recently, you may have received a communication with the title Notice of Claim Deficiency regarding your claim in the Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation stating that your claim has a higher-than-average volume or amount of chicken purchases. The threshold for higher-than-average volume or amount of chicken purchases has now been raised to 84 packages or $300 per month.
Your claim is now under this threshold, and is no longer being audited regarding this issue. No further action is required on your claim regarding the volume or amount of chicken purchased.
PLEASE NOTE that this updated notice only applies to this specific issue where your claim indicates a higher-than-average volume or amount of chicken purchases. If you have any other deficiencies indicated in the Notice of Claim Deficiency, those must be addressed, or your claim may be denied."
