This is about the best it has been (straight purchase, not counting the freebies they often throw in). Tax is unfortunate, but don't forget there is 2% cash back from the usual suspects - and your credit card rebates, of course.

The G5 83" comes in at $3,150 + tax for anyone that is interested. Also near an all time low, I believe.

LG has been showing that model OOS in my zip for awhile now, glad it's available where you are.

This is confusing. The link takes me to a login for an LG partner store. It appears you have to be in business to gain access to this deal. Any ideas?

When I searched for the TV directly on the LG Partner Store, it showed OOS and a higher price, but for some reason when I used the link on this thread, it went to the TV and I had no problem placing an order for the C5 83". Maybe I didn't have my zip code entered at that point, but you may want to check again from the link above.

Having been reading lots of the LG partner threads on slickdeals recently, the routes I've seen mentioned are:
  • you can get access through a hulu account
  • sign up for firefox relay service (the free tier) and the alias email generated for you will be eligible to register with the partner store
  • sign up for beneplace.com eg at bpnet.savings.beneplace.com
I haven't confirmed that those work; I got access through an edu address that I still had.

Wow, phenomenal price! I had returned my 83" C5 for a 85" Bravia9 ($4,000) for my living area. They were both the same price, but the B9 was great reference picture with unlimited brightness. I also love the remote and hated LG's.
However, the LG was perfection in zero-light environments. It was amazing with gaming how the smallest things popped, such as a firearm sight, night-vision goggles. Also, all 4 ports were HDMI 2.1.
So much of me wants to get this for the Master Bedroom :/ WAY overkill.
