Has anyone ordered these and confirmed they are not knock offs? Counterfeit Milwaukee batteries are extremely common and unless they come directly from a distributer they are hard to trust. Depending which amazon seller sent these to Woot they could be either.

I don't believe woot is an authorized Milwaukee dealer. And these are last gen I would get the forge batteries instead

I have a pair of these from the last time they went on sale. No complains, they make a huge difference for me specially with the blower and track saw.

This is a good price for the Milwaukee batteries. I have got other Milwaukee batteries from Woot before and they have worked great.

Correct, Woot is not an authorized dealer and the batteries would not have a warranty.

I took a chance a couple of months ago on some M12s. I opened one, watched a million videos about the counterfeit stuff, and literally held it up to the monitor to compare to the milwaukee and home depot images. If they're fake best forgers ever. Two weird details: the packaging was brutal to open. Like cut-your-finger clam shells. Then the bare battery was weighed on my food scale, it was a one to one against the milwaukee site. Again, if these are fake, hats off on capturing every single detail, including the correct screws and everything.

The new age replicas for all power tool gear has gotten very good & would fool most people imo but most won't go that extra step u did. There's always a couple minor details off in the end if we kno what to look for, maybe screws, paint/sticker, color/font, plastic type rubber feel & SMELL surprisingly lol & absolutely weight which I rank high up! If u checked most stuff posted online about fakes & weighed them & it was a 1 to 1 they're real imo. Bc even if the knockoff use the same cells the circuitry & boards will differ in weight even by a couple ounces which a kitchen scale would register.Glad to hear it bc they're so dang expensive! I don't mind buying a quality knockoffs, that I'll only use with lower draw tools but just tell me they're fake from the get go so we don't have to go full detective mode lol

Even when buying them directly from an authorized distributor such as Home Depot, people may still get a fake battery because some crook had purchased it and then returned with a fake one.

High output batteries are the best. Wont bog down with high torque
