Eco-Worthy's 100W monocrystalline panel comes across as a very cheap option for backup power, van setups, sheds, and other small solar projects. Real-world reports range from about 75 percent of rated output to roughly 85 to 93 watts in good sun, with some setups lasting years without issues and shipping arriving quickly from the US. The panels are also described as bulky for camping and not ideal for whole-house systems. A few comments flag cracked glass, compatibility checks, and the need to match voltage and wiring carefully.

  • The panels can produce close to their rated output when used in the right setup.

  • The panels can work well for van or camper van use over multiple years.

  • The panels can arrive well packed and in good condition, reducing damage worries.

  • The panels can be practical for powering small off-grid loads like pool deck lights.

  • The panels can underperform their labeled wattage, reaching roughly 50-76% of rated output.

  • The listing can create confusion because the title and specs may indicate different voltages.

  • The panels can arrive with cracked glass, and replacement handling may take time.

  • Customer service can be difficult when returns or fitment issues occur.

As long as real estate isn't an issue this is 100%.
Quite a few of us are using these as a shade source for a parking spot for cars. Mount it 10' off the ground to a solid frame and the shade for your automobile is superb.

Renogy panels will output close to or more than their rated wattage. Eco worthy will output 50-75% of their rated wattage. My Eco worthy panels get 68% while my Renogy panels get 95%. In this case, you get what you pay for.
Looking at the pair I bought hooked in series to my EF Delta Pro and they're right at 186-87 watts input (93% of rated). shake head

Just ordered two more with the $8 off coupon, just under $60 for the pair shipped. Can't beat it.

If I have solar panels already installed on my home, could these be hooked up to the system to add more energy generation? Or would they be incompatible somehow?
Its almost guaranteed youre going to take a hit and lose max capacity in one way or another. If these panels have the same voltage as your existing panels but less current your entire system is 'throttled' to the current of whatever panels produce the least current. The same applies the other way around: you could instead increase current cumulatively but you'd be effectively capped at the voltage of the lowest voltage panel(s). Having this throttling effect also runs the risk of fire hazards from backfeeding. You can install diodes between panels to mitigate this backfeeding effect but you still just kneecapped yourself to whatever the lowest common denominator is in your system and doesnt seem worth the hassle. If you can, an ideal solution would be to have a second independent string of identical panels that can feed into your inverter, assuming it has an available input. Many inverters accept two branches, the idea being you have one branch be an array on one side of your roof and the other being an array on a different side of your roof facing a different direction, expanding the time available for you to harvest energy.

Unfortunately, panels take up space in the real world. In reality, you want to buy the best panels for any given space.Cheap low efficient panels are fine if you are just starting out into solar. But once you learn more, most people realize high efficiency is worth the extra initial cost.
Exactly this. The other guy isn't wrong, but I have solar on my van and need the highest watt per inch I can get, meaning I need the efficiency of better panels. Which brings me to a side note: I need a deal on the best wattage for size panels that will fit on my van. Looking at Dokio 400w hard panels for ~$250 shipped each unless someone has a better deal for me.

Except it's not. Since the prices being used are wrong. At the same price point you can get larger panels that actually do output 100 watts. So you are paying the same for less by buying these.

Im not in the solar industry, but I have been messing with random panels for over 20 years now and I have never heard of JNN
It's JJN, not JNN. And if you've been messing with random panels for 20 years, then you definitely should have heard of them. They are a "Amazon's Choice" panel.

If that's your goal, then you should buy bigger panels that actually output 100 watts at the same price point. More watts, more shade, same cost.

Wow... around black Friday I got the Renogy 400W Portable Solar Panel Blanket for $380. Some reviewers claimed they slightly exceeded in direct sunlight, but I never got a chance to test that case.

I shouldv'e saved my money and got these instead. But to be fair, the Renogy is 16lb while one of these panels is 14.5lb, so there is that difference.

I wonder about their durability though. 25 years would be great but I'd want to be sure before installing on a roof (unless you're a DIY knowing what you're doing). Anybody here have them for years?
I don't think you should expect 25 years of use from something that costs $31. These are not the panels you want for a whole house solar system.

Actually you should expect 25 years, some are 30 now, with these rigid panels. Even if they cost $31. Since that's how long they are designed to last.

You are correct that these aren't meant for whole house solar. Not anymore at least. Maybe 20 years ago. I have a stack of old 75 watt panels that were once on a roof. Today though, roof top panels tend to be 400 watts and up. It's a labor issue as much as anything else.

If you buy 4 of this 100 watt = 400 watt = $124

I would get 2 of 200 watt = 400 watt = $128 on eBay here:

Would this be good to put on top of a shed with some batteries for two things: run some sort of fan to keep the humidity low, charge my tennis ball machine battery and an e-bike?

It's because they are physically about 75% the size of 100 watt panels. Thus why they are really like 75 watt panels.

You can still get real 100 watt panels for the same cost as these. So if you do the math, you are paying to get less by getting these.

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...39581.html
If they're 75% of the size, you can fit 4 in the space of 3 other "100W", so the space taken up isn't really an issue, is it? At that point, it's just all the wiring that matters.

This would be a great way for me to charge my Prius Prime, since it doesn't need much. I'd just have to figure out what else to dump the power into. And size it so it can be hinged/folded down over the garage door during hurricanes to protect it. I'll need to look into this, I'd only need the power for the car on some weekends, the car is away on weekdays during the day.
