I have an array of 9 x 100w monofacial Eco-Worthy panels. I've had them up for a couple of years now with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

12v vs 18v? What's the advantages / disadvantages of the two?

The 100w panels keep getting cheaper and cheaper. I'd like to see larger panels come down like this.
Nice to see.

I have 2 of these and 4 of the monofacial. They all put out right around what they're supposed to. Bifacial, of course, does a bit better. This is a great price, even better than the deal I posted a few weeks ago.

I'm getting 2 more to complete 2 parallel strings of 48V.

Better deal if you buy 2 and use code CDUS08 for $8 off.

And yes, I trust AliExpress, like I said I have 6 panels from them already and they all work perfectly fine. Only mentioning for those that are on the fence about buying from AE, cuz I know there are a lot of AE haters out there. And no, I'm not a shill.
I was one of those people who waited a long time to try AE, because I thought at best it required a lot of insider knowledge to avoid scams. (And at worst it was all knockoff junk). But it's really easy to use, merch has been spot on brands, and just sticking to sellers with a lot of registered sales is all I do to avoid questionable purchases. I have had a few things messed up in the mail but the seller has always fixed it. That may take a little more time than an Amazon refund but as long as you're not trying to do last minute Christmas shopping, it's not a deal breaking lag.
Now, I've never bought anything as fragile as solar panels so we'll see how this goes. But I'm in for 2. Grab a refurb EcoFlow power station from eBay and you're basically living off-grid (as long as you only need a fan and your laptop to live)

Anyone notice that product title says 12V while product specs say 18V? Which is the correct voltage of these panels? I have 2 x 18V and would like buy more to parallel them. At worst, I can put the 12V and 18V in series, and then connect those two strings in parallel to each other.

Aren't 48v panels becoming more common? I got the impression they were a better choice for most residential applications since you didn't have to series them to get a better voltage
Well sure but you say that like "having" to put these in series is a bad thing. Series is just the optimal way to connect panels as high as your controller will allow, because it doesn't increase amperage and doesn't require extra connectors and fuses which you'd get into if you start paralleling things.

They are 22.7 voc panels, with normal operating voltage being around 18-20v. There are no 12v or 18v of these panels. 12v usually just means it goes with like a 12v battery and a 12v charge controller.

I have 4 of these. Mine do not put out 100 watts. I think of them as 75 watt panels. I guess you have to illuminate it on both sides to hit 100 watts. My 4 100 watt Renogy panels put out 384 watts. Right next to them these 4 Eco-worthy panels put out about 250 watts. They are cheap but you get what you pay for. Now I'm looking for other panels to replace them with. Since they are taking up real estate and not producing as they should.

Serial is not ideal if you have shading. Parallel works better. If you have 4 panels in a series and 1 panel is partially shaded, the entire string is held back by that 1 panel. Since at the combined voltage, it'll only output the number of amps that shaded panel can put out. Which isn't much. You can increase output by fully covering that shaded panel so that it drops out and the charge controller adjusts to the lower voltage. With parallel that doesn't happen. The other 3 panels will still be going full bore. So I parallel when I can. Serial only if I have to.

What's the cheapest possible grid-tie microinverter with anti-islanding to go with these for a little balcony solar? Ideally something that can have its output set programmatically, so that I can use Home Assistant and an energy meter to keep myself from exporting

If I have solar panels already installed on my home, could these be hooked up to the system to add more energy generation? Or would they be incompatible somehow?
Yes you can have extras hooked up to your battery system but it will very likely be in the form of all of these on a separate controller that then connects to battery. Then you can do whatever you want. But having these compatible on an existing controller that already has existing different panels is unlikely.

I plan to put it in front of the house wall that face south to mitigate the sun light damage to the wall panels
