I'd say this is a great deal.
I already have a standard 20v drill for a kit, but spent $99 on a BARE hammer version, and this (non hammer) comes with a bag AND battery, making it a pretty good deal for someone who needs a home drill, or is new to dewalt and doesnt even have a battery yet.

I bought the 12v version at Lowe's for $20 less. Not sure if I can still return it but curious if there are certain use cases where one is better than the other.
