KitchenAid's new fully automatic espresso machine is positioned as a smaller, more accessible step below the KF6, KF7, and KF8, with an updated design and iced coffee or cold brew capability. Setup is straightforward, and the machine can make a decent regular coffee right out of the box after the required startup shots. The small, non removable bean hopper is the main drawback called out so far. Deal pricing also appears to have shifted, with discount stacking changing and order status or cancellation issues making checkout less smooth.

After a few rounds of chat and calls I was able to get a prepaid shipping label to send one back. Their customer service is a bit of a pain and they said it could take 6-8 weeks for a refund. 😑
So, it may not be worth the hassle. I went through all that just to save an extra $65!
